The UK's best-selling zombie horror series
Now a best-selling series on Audible.

The Undead Day Eighteen eBook RR Haywood

Mr. Haywood is a creative genus. Practically rolling in laughter over Meredith and the rain. The addition of Jess is awesome. Nick and Mr. Howie and the group had my heart racing as the seconds ticked by. We see increasing depth of character, including flaws, a further increase in the group bond and the evolution (in numerous ways) of both the group and the infection. Obviously something else at work here, but readers are left to determine that for themselves for now. The hive mind of the infection is a great twist to the normal zombie tale. However, this is more than the normal zombie tale; but, about good and evil, how people handle stress, how they learn to get along and how they accept (or don't) what is. I highly recommend all of the Undead Days. I know I'm completely addicted. Couple notes: thought the map/ale banter went on a bit, and while discussions about immunity, etc (trying not to spoil) are referenced, it'd be nice to hear more. We hear the thoughts of the lads, Mr. Howie, Paula, etc, but what about Dave: what is he thinking, strategy, tactics, infection, the group? More Dave please.

The Undead Day Eighteen eBook RR Haywood Reviews

I become increasingly more distressed as I read through this series with the thought that eventually I will finish it and I will be lost. Every so often you come across writing that brings you in and becomes a part of your life. This is that.
I only left a star rating the last couple of Day's series . The reason is because I didn't feel I could leave a adequate review that would do the story line justice. I thought I might give away to much information. I will say that I plan on continuing the series to the very end. The story is that could.
I love this series! Ever since I listened to Part I on Audible, I've been hooked. I normally don't like reading, but since Part VII ended on Audible, I ended up buying the versions to keep up. Day 18 did not disappoint! I was glued to my the whole time. Read. Eat while Reading. Sleep while reading. Read at work. Read during meetings. Smile while reading. Coworkers see me smiling. Think i'm crazy. Keep reading. Check www.rrhaywood.com. Look for info on Day 19. None. Keep reading. Check Audible for Part VIII. none. Keep reading. Finished Day 18. Use Telepathy. Make Mr. Haywood write faster.

Mr. Haywood, please continue with this series, and I will continue to support you by buying both the and Audible versions.
Normally I am not a big fan of the series trend in most zombie novels. And when I saw this I thought, come on... day eighteen really? But this series has been a blast. I like cheering for the good guys/gals even when they are being bad. Some of the other additions to this story line are really creative. It is a good long story that will have you smiling, and fighting right with Mr. Howie and the crew. Cheers.
I can't get enough of this series! I only have a few more to go so please keep writing more! So full of action! I love the zombie genre but this series keeps focus on getting rid of the "things" and working towards a cure instead of men fighting each other to be the "governor." Love the character, Mr. Howie! Keep up the great writing!
Day Eighteen and the war party starts again, I laugh, I cry, I cringe, I laugh again, I cry again, then I fight, my body is exhausted my brain is swirling.
There is no other series that does that to me, none, I have read the best of them, but RR Haywood makes it easy to become one of the team.
I love and cherish each and everyone of them, and now we have a horse! I don't know what's in store for us in book nineteen, but if it's only half as good as this, then I will be happy.
Thank you Mr RR Haywood.
I was recommended to read The Undead books by a relative and I have not looked back since. By far the most engaging aspect of RR Haywood's series is his characterization, particularly in creating flawed human beings. Everyone in Mr Howie's team, especially Mr Howie, has a character flaw, but their growing dedication and loyalty to their team-mates is a form of redemption. I can honestly say that it creates a yearning within the reader (certainly THIS reader) to be such a highly valued member of such a team, and to have people around you who care for you as much as these folks do.
These books often made me laugh, and almost as often made me cry...and throughout I have loved every moment of the journey.
Please don't stop writing them - the fact that a publishing house hasn't picked them up yet is testament to the short-sighted commercialism of so-called experts!
BUY THESE BOOKS - you will love them!
